the device completely stops whenever you leave the
machine, before carrying out maintenance, before
checking, cleaning or working on the appliance.
Wear suitable working clothes, long trousers

Do not connect the negative clamp to the
negative battery terminal: connect it to the engine,
vehicle frame or remote ground.

read this manual and follow the instructions
properly whenever you use your tool. Also read
and follow the instructions supplied by the vehicle
battery manufacturer and the manufacturer of
any equipment you intend to use in the vicinity of
the battery. Review all caution markings on these
products and on the engine.
Wear an adequate protective equipment for
eyes and proper clothing.
Have plenty of fresh water and soap nearby in
case of any contact between the battery acid and
skin, clothing or eyes. Avoid touching eyes while
working with and near the battery. If the battery
acid contacts skin or clothing, wash it immediately
with soap and water. If acid enters in the eye(s)
wash it immediately with cold water for at least 10
minutes and visit a physician as soon as possible.
Do not smoke or produce sparks or flames near
the battery engine.
Do not drop metal tools onto the battery. Be
cautious when using metal tools near the car
battery. Contact between metal and the positive car
battery post may cause an explosion.
Remove all metal personal items such as rings,

bracelets, watches and chains when working near
a lead acid batter. Contact between a metal item
and the positive car battery post can produce a
short circuit current which is high enough to cause
a severe burn.
Use the portable power source to charge or
boost lead-acid batteries only. Do not use it to
charge dry cell batteries that are commonly used for
home appliances.
Do not charge or boost a frozen car battery.
Do not allow the alligator clamps to touch each
other or to touch a piece of metal at the same time.
Unpacking
When unpacking, check to make sure that all
components are included. Refer to the drawings
on this manual. If any parts are missing or broken,
please call IVT assistance center.

Initial operation

Always use the correct supply voltage: the power
supply voltage must match the information quoted
on the tool identification plate.

Switching on and off

Before connecting the device to the electric power
supply, make sure that the main supply voltage
is 230V/50Hz and being suitable for use only in
premises having a service current capacity equal
to or greater than 100A per phase with a normal
voltage of 400/230V.
Operation instructions
Before using the Jump-Start try the Car Talk.
Start a car with Jumper cables
WARNING: Jump-starting a car can
cause serious injury if you are not
careful. If you are unsure of what you
are doing at any point, do not attempt to jump-
start your car.
Read the owner's manual. Some manufacturers
do not allow jump-starts and some others have
fuses that need to be removed before jump-starting,
or need other operations to be taken before you can
