Troubleshooting

All electrical devices can malfunction. This does not necessarily mean that the device is defective.
Therefore, please refer to the table to verify whether the issue can be rectified.
Issue
Blower and lighting do not
work.
Lighting does not work.
Odours are no longer adequa-
tely eliminated/poor airflow.
Motor stops after a few minu-
tes.
Poor performance of the cook-
er hood in exhaust air mode.
Oil is dripping from the device.
Buzzing sound
Danger!
Never attempt to repair the defective - or supposedly defective - device on your own. You
can put yourself and other users in danger. Only authorised specialists may perform these
repairs.
Probable causes
The device is not connected
to a power source.
The light bulb is defective.
The filters are dirty.
The device is overheated and
has tripped the internal circuit
breaker.
The hood does not have
enough air supply.
The grease filter is dirty.
Foreign particles in the fan.

Solutions and tips
Check that the power plug is
properly plugged in.
Check the wall socket with
another electrical device.
Check the fuses.
Replace the light bulb
Replace the grease filters and/
or carbon filters
The device is not receiving
enough air intake.The hood has a
large exhaust air flow rate (CFM).
Therefore, make sure that there is
sufficient air intake, e.g. through
non-sealable openings in doors,
windows, air intake wall boxes.
Follow the safety information.
Clean/replace grease filter
