Safety and warning information for the built-in gas pressure springs

The gas pressure spring is under high pressure and must not be opened!
Do not bend or damage the piston rod or let it come into contact with paint, dirt, acid, glue
or aggressive agents.
Never attempt to replace or repair defective - or supposedly defective - gas pressure
springs on your own. You can put yourself and other users in danger. Only authorised spe-
cialists may replace gas pressure springs. Please dispose of the gas pressure spring in a
professional and environmentally friendly manner.
Inform anyone who does not know or understand these instructions of the above-menti-
oned safety and warning information!
The air must not be disposed of in a smoke vent intended for removing flue gases from appliances
using gas or other fuel (not applicable for devices that circulate the air back into the room);
The minimum space between the surface area for the cooking vessels on the stove and the lowest
part of the cooker hood. (If the cooker hood is above the gas stove, the minimum distance must be
65 cm.) Regulations regarding air removal must be observed.

Screws or fastening devices that are not installed in accordance with the instructions represent electri-
cal dangers.

The main power supply must be switched off before accessing the terminals.
The negative pressure in the room must not exceed 4 Pa (4 x 10-5 bar) when the cooker hood is put
into operation simultaneously with appliances supplied with energy sources other than electricity.
