Suspended cooker hood

6. Wood ceiling:
Drill 8 holes into the ceiling matching the 8 round holes on the suspension plate.
The suspension plate is fixed to the wood ceiling with 8 ST6*40 mm countersunk sheet-metal screws;
see Fig. 4.
Concrete ceiling:
For a concrete ceiling, orientate yourself on the 4 elongated holes of the suspension plate to drill 4
holes for the installation. Use 4 6*60 explosive screws to attach the suspension plate to the ceiling.

7. Guide the 4 wire ropes over the decorative plate and use lock nuts to attach the decorative plate to
the suspension plate, see Fig. 5. Ensure that the opening for the power cable on the decorative panel
points in the same direction as the power cable opening on the cooker hood.
8. Please follow steps 1 & 2 in Fig. 6 to insert the upper ends of the 4 wire ropes into the slot of the
upper side of the cooker hood; use 4 ST4*8 mm countersunk sheet-metal screws to attach the wire
ropes. Please ensure that they cannot slide out, see Fig. 6.
9. Loosen the decorative plate and run the power cable of the cooker hood to the decorative plate and
securely fasten the power supply. Ensure that the wire is electrically isolated to avoid electric shock,
see Fig. 7.
