Definitions

We use the following terms in this manual to indicate a warning:
Danger!
High risk. Failure to observe this warning may cause severe injury
or death.
Caution!
Medium risk. Failure to observe this warning may cause
damage to property.
Important!
Low risk. Circumstances that should be considered when handling the device.

Safety information

Danger of choking!
Dispose of packaging film immediately as it can become a deadly trap for children.
Danger of electric shock!
The device operates at dangerously high voltage.
Do not connect or operate the device when you can see noticeable signs of damage –
especially to the electrical parts!
Please notify our customer service immediately if the device has transportation damage
or any other visible signs of damage.
Repairs to electrical devices may only be carried out by authorised specialists. Impro-
perly performed repairs can pose considerable danger to the user. If the power cord of
this device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, their customer service
or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid danger.
When unplugging the device, always pull out the p
ower plug itself, never pull on the cable.
Unplug the power plug before cleaning the cooker hood or changing out the filter.
Should the power plug be hard to reach, switch off the power in the fuse box.
