Danger of injury!
Please be aware that some parts have sharp edges. Danger of injury!
Use a stable step ladder while installing.
Danger for children and persons with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities!
This device is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with limited
physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge unless
they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have received inst-
ructions from them on how to use the device.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they are not playing with the device.
The extractor hood should not be exposed to additional weight load. The product
is not a toy.
Danger of fire!
The space between the surface of the electric or gas stove and the lower edge of
the cooker hood must always be at least 65 cm. However, please read and follow
the instructions of your gas stove carefully! If the spacing indicated there is larger,
this must be taken into account.
Do not flambé underneath the cooker hood! It is a fire hazard. Deep-frying
underneath the cooker hood is only allowed under constant observation due
to the danger of fire.
Always keep your cooker hood clean. Grease deposits can ignite when exposed to
severe heat.
Always unplug the power plug before cleaning the cooker hood or changing out
the filter. Should the power plug be hard to reach, turn off the power with the newly
installed switch (see "Access to the power connection", page 9).
Danger of burns!
Exposed parts can become hot when used with cooking equipment.
Caution!
The cooker hood must be installed above the centre of the stove so that it can
operate at full capacity.
Electrical installation work may only be carried out by authorised specialists. If you
need an additional socket for the device, please contract a specialist electrician.
Before drilling the holes needed for the wall mounting, please ensure that no ca-
bles or pipes that are laid in the wall (electricity, gas, water, etc.) will be damaged
(use a line locator to check the locations concerned).
Important!
Liability and warranty claims are excluded if repairs are carried out independently
or if the device is connected improperly or operated incorrectly.
