3. How to Start and Finish

How to start
1) Start the computer for servicing.
2) If an icon of CaptureOnTouch is displayed
on the task bar, click the icon to terminate
it.
Note: Refer to the user manual for the details
of how to operate CaptureOnTouch.
3) Set the Auto Start switch of this machine
to "ON" or "OFF".
Note: If "OFF", install the driver beforehand.
The functions of the service tool are
the same regardless of whether it is
set to "ON" or "OFF".
4) Connect the USB cable, open the docu-
ment feed tray of this machine, and then
turn on the machine.
5) Run the installed file "DRUnification-
Tool.exe".

6) Password dialogue box appears, and
enter six characters as "market" and se-
lect [OK].
7) The initial screen is displayed.
8) Select [Select Scanner] to run each ser-
vice mode, or select [Firm Registration] to
register firmware.
