7.0 Operation

7.1 Controls

Up/Down (located on electric cabinet): Regulates
direction of head.
Manu/Auto (located on electric cabinet): Manual
mode allows switch (or foot pedal) to be bumped to
lower the head in steps. Auto mode performs
complete cycle of blade drop and rise.
Start/Stop (located on electric cabinet): Main switch
for starting and stopping machine.
The foot pedal creates same action as Up/Down
switch, in Manual or Auto mode. An Emergency
Stop (E-Stop) switch is located atop the post. This
shuts down all machine functions. To restart
machine,
rotate
E-stop
disengages. (NOTE: It is recommended that Stop
button on electric cabinet be used for normal shut-
down to prevent unnecessary wear on E-stop.)

7.2 General operating procedure

1.
Set machine to automatic or manual mode.
2.
Loosen handle (A, Figure 7-1) and slide fences
to accommodate workpiece size.
3.
Remove pin (B) and adjust reference block (C)
to desired angle.

Adjust left and right fences (D) to match
workpiece.
5.
Press foot pedal to operate.
6.
Cut pieces will slide down exit chute at back of
machine.
