Checking for leaks and pump pressure (2)

Procedure:

Perform steps 1 to 8 on page 43.

Press On/Off button to switch on
machine.

Press button "Large cup".

Open valve and leave water to run out for
approx. 10 s.

Fully close valve.
The pressure will rise rapidly initially and
stabilise between 16 - 19 bar (check of
pump pressure). The pressure will rise
slowly due to the temperature increase.
Keep an eye on the pressure
gauge at all times!
If the pressure exceeds 23 bar, the
machine has to be switched off and
pressure released through the pressure
valve.

Perform visual and acoustic checks on all
pressurized connections.
The pump must not be in
operation for longer than 50 s
without water flow.
16 - 19 bar

Switch off machine with On/Off button.

Open valve, open jaw (pressure gauge
empties).

After the check, the remaining
pressure has to be released by
opening the pressure valve!
