Assembling/disassembling the motor starter

Requirements
● A 35x15 mm DIN rail in accordance with DIN EN 60715, or a 35x7.5 mm DIN rail in
accordance with DIN EN 60715, or a SIMATIC S7 DIN rail is properly secured either
horizontally, vertically or on its back at the installation location
● Mounting position: You can assemble the SIMATIC ET 200SP motor starter horizontally,
vertically, or on its back with the help of a DIN rail.
● Use a mechanical bracket (3RK1908-1EA00-1BP0) if you are using a 15 mm DIN rail.
Protection against electrostatic charge
When handling and installing the SIMATIC ET 200SP motor starter, ensure protection
against electrostatic charging of the components. Changes to the system configuration and
wiring are only permissible after disconnection from the power supply.
Required tools
Screwdriver with 3 to 3.5 mm blade width
