Connect the Xpod oximeter to the oximeter port on the S9 Oximeter adapter.

Connect the the Xpod oximeter to the finger pulse sensor.

Reconnect the S9 device to the power outlet. The S9 device briefly displays

Removing and returning the S9 Oximeter adapter and SD card

Disconnect the S9 device from the power outlet.
Press and hold in the release buttons located on each side of the S9 Oximeter

Remove the Xpod oximeter from the oximeter port on your S9 Oximeter

Remove the finger sensor cable from the Xpod oximeter.

Remove the SD card from the S9 device. For instructions on removing the
SD card, please refer to the S9 SD card protective folder provided with the
S9 device.

When instructed to do so, return this User Guide, the S9 Oximeter adapter and
the SD card to your healthcare professional in the original packaging.
Note: Ensure that you remove the S9 Oximeter adapter from the S9 device before
removing the Xpod oximeter. Failure to do so may damage the S9 Oximeter adapter.
Cleaning and maintenance
If necessary, wipe the outside of the S9 Oximeter adapter with a clean, dry cloth.
For instructions on how to clean the oximeter and its sensor, please refer to the
user guide supplied with these accessories.
