Em ergency O peration of Sliding R oof
If the electric drive fails, the sliding
roof can also be moved by hand.
For this purpose a manual drive (1)
has been provided on the drive
m otor (LH side o f trunk). The man­

ual drive can be rotated by means
of adapter ( ) and spark plug

w rench (3) to move the sliding
roof in the desired direction.
To close the sliding roof, turn
clockwise.

If the filler flap cannot be opened
w hen the master lock system is
unlocked, bend aside the covering
on the RH side o f the trun k some­
w ha t and w ith d ra w the link o f the
vacuum element.
