C leaning and Care o f th e V ehicle
Velours: Pressure marks resulting
from dampness and heat may
appear to be stains. Such marks
can be removed by w iping w ith a
moistened brush, ironing w ith a
w et cloth or by treating w ith a dry
shampoo. Do not sit on damp up­
holstery. Quick drying is achieved
by applying hot air — fo r example,
by using a hair dryer. If in doubt,
please consult your MERCEDES-
BENZ service station.
P a in tw o rk
Do not apply wax if your car is
parked in the sun or if the hood is
still hot. For m axim um protection.
the paintw ork should be waxed
approxim ately once every three
m onths. Use the appropriate
MERCEDES-BENZ Touch-U p Stick
fo r quick and provisional repairs of
m inor paint damage.
Light A llo y W heels
If possible, clean wheels once a
week w ith lukewarm w ater and
autosham poo. Use an ample supply
o f water.
To remove stubborn marks, use
polish or paint cleaner and apply
w ith b uffin g cloth or a soft cloth.
O rn am en tal M oldings

For regular cleaning and care of
very dirty chrom e-plated parts, use
a chrome cleaner.
