    Headset Installation The headset will be used to make or receive a call. With the back neck type headset (HS915), you can have the convenience of hands free communication while using your cordless phone. Make sure you have plugged the headset in before making or receiving a call. 1) Place the headset so the microphone is on the left side.

    Distinctive Ringer Setup “Distinctive Ringer” allows you to preset memory locations with a designated ring tone. When an incoming call is received and the Caller ID information matches the information in one of the memory locations, the Distinctive Ring that has been stored for that particular caller will sound.

    Phonebook Phonebook allows you to dial a number using just a few key presses. Your phone stores names/numbers in the phonebook memory location, and you can search names in alphabetical order.     Expanding Your Phone Your phone supports up to 2 handsets (the original handset and the second handset). You can now place a fully featured cordless handset anywhere AC power is available to connect the handset charger. Additionally, you can transfer an outside call to another handset.

    Changing the Digital Security Code The digital security code is an identification code used to connect the handset and the base unit. Normally, setting the code is not necessary. In the rare situation that you suspect another cordless telephone is using the same security code, you can change the code.
