Setting Up Your Answering System

Answering System Settings
To set the following six functions you must enter the menu mode.

• With the phone in standby mode, use the menu/clock
key to scroll through the menu options. The system
returns to standby and sounds a tone after the last
menu option.
• If any of the following occurs during menu setup, the
system returns to standby; you will have to start over
with the procedure you were performing:
-The talk/flash key is pressed
-The
(play/stop) key is pressed
-10 seconds elapse without a key press
-An incoming call is received
• If the system remains idle for about five seconds after
the announcement, the system returns to standby.
Once the

/volume/select key is pressed, the
idle time is extended to 10 seconds.
