318 SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE
Maintenance Schedule
Additional Required Services -
Normal
Rotate the tyres, if recommended for the vehicle, and
perform Required Services. Check engine oil level
and oil life percentage. Change the engine oil and
filter, if needed.
Check the engine air filter life percentage and status.
Change the engine air filter, if needed. (1)
Drain the diesel fuel filter of water.
Replace the passenger compartment air filter. (2)
Replace fuel filter. (3)
Inspect the evaporative control system. (4)
Change the rear axle fluid, if equipped with AWD. (5)
Drain and fill the engine cooling system. (6)
Visually inspect the accessory drive belts. (7)
Replace brake fluid. (8)
Replace windscreen wiper blades. (9)
Replace bonnet and/or body lift support gas
struts. (10)
Replace the air conditioning desiccant. (11)
