6.4 ARP Table

Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) is a protocol for mapping an Internet Protocol address (IP address) to
a physical machine address, also known as a Media Access Control or MAC address, on the local area
network.
Use the ARP table to view IP-to-MAC address mapping(s).

DESCRIPTION
This field shows the MAC address of the device with the name in the Host Name field.
Every Ethernet device has a unique MAC (Media Access Control) address which uniquely
identifies a device. The MAC address is assigned at the factory and consists of six pairs of
hexadecimal characters, for example, 00:A0:C5:00:00:02.
Select this if you want to reserve the IP address for this specific MAC address.
Click Cancel to reload the previous configuration for this screen.
Click Refresh to update this screen.
Click Apply to save your changes back to the WAH7601.
DESCRIPTION
This is the index number of the entry.
This is the learned IPv4 or IPv6 IP address of a device connected to a port.
This is the MAC address of the device with the listed IP address.
This is the type of interface used by the device.
br0 indicates a LAN interface where 0 represents LAN1 or LAN2.
WAN indicates a connection via mobile network (4G, 3G or 2G).
WLAN indicates a connection via WiFi network.
RNDIS indicates a connection via USB.
This column shows the current status of the connection.
Click Refresh to update this screen.
