Signing Off The Remote Control - Miele DA 3668 Operating And Installation Instructions

Before using for the first time

Signing off the remote control

 Press the run-on control  on the
rangehood for approx. 10 seconds
until 1 lights up.
 Then press in turn:
- the  control,
- then the  control,
- then the lighting control ,
- then the  control to sign off.
2 will light up constantly, 3 will flash on
and off.
After a few seconds 2 and 3 will start
flashing on and off.
 Confirm the signing off procedure on
the rangehood by pressing the 
run-on control. All the indicator lights
will go out.
 Press the  and  controls on the
remote control at the same time for
about 5 seconds until the LED on the
remote control starts flashing.
 Then press in turn:
- the lighting control ,
- then the  control to sign off.
The remote control LED will flash
steadily.
After approx. 10 seconds, the remote
control LED flashes on and off twice
with a longer gap between the flashes.
The LED will go out after a short while.
The remote control is signed off.

Signing on the remote control
A Wi-Fi connection and the remote
control cannot be used
simultaneously.
 Sign off any existing Wi-Fi connection
(see "Signing off Wi-Fi").
 To sign on, press the run-on
control  on the rangehood for
approx. 10 seconds until 1 lights up.
 Then press in turn:
- the  control,
- then the  control,
- then the lighting control ,
- then press the  control to sign on.
2 will light up constantly, 3 will flash on
and off.
After a few seconds 2 and 3 with light
up constantly, B will flash on and off.
 Press the  and  controls on the
remote control at the same time for
about 5 seconds until the LED on the
remote control starts flashing.
 Then press in turn:
- the lighting control ,
- then the  control to sign on.
The search for a wireless connection
will start. The remote control LED will
flash steadily.
After approx. 30 seconds, the remote
control LED flashes on and off four
times with short intervals between the
flashes. The LED will go out after a
short while.
