The setting's impact equally depends on the actuator type
used as described in "Valve position cooling mode / summer
operation" (see below).

Room temperature rise

During optimum start control, the central apartment unit ascertains
the room temperature rise (min / K) of the respective room and takes
it into account the next time optimum start control is performed. The
value calculated last can be viewed via an operating line and can be
changed, if required:

Proportion room unit

If a QAW910 room unit and 1 or 2 QAA910 room temperature sen-
sors are connected to the same room, the room unit's weighting
(0..100 %) with regard to room temperature averaging can be set.
If 1 room unit and 1 room temperature sensor are used, the actual
value of the average room temperature is determined based on the
percentage proportion set.
If 1 room unit and 2 room temperature sensors are used, the average
value of the 2 room temperature sensors is determined first. Then,
the actual value of the average room temperature is calculated based
on the percentage proportion set for the room unit and the room tem-
perature sensor.
When 2 room temperature sensors are used, the average value of
the 2 sensors is delivered. The proportion of the individual sensors
cannot be changed.

Valve position cooling mode / summer operation

This determines the position to which the valve of a room is driven
(0..100 %) when the plant is switched to cooling mode or summer
operation. The amount of cooling energy drawn by the individual
rooms can thus be influenced.
In rooms with high humidity levels, there is risk of condensa-
tion.
