By default, no IP address is assigned to the Mediation Server module interfaces.
Use this procedure to assign a static IP address to the Mediation Server module using a
console connection.

Assigning a static IP address to the Mediation Server module using a console connection

configure terminal
ip dhcps
connected, enter:
interface servmod<slot/port>
pool <DHCP-pool-name>
network <network/mask>
This step describes the configuration of a subnet pool from which the DHCP server
can assign an IP address. Alternatively, under the ip dhcps subtree, you can use
the hwaddr and host commands to configure a manual DHCP binding. If you
choose this alternative configuration, the remaining steps in this procedure remain
the same.
interface configured in the previous procedure:
default_router <mid-plane-interface-ip>
dnsserver <A.B.C.D>
commit exit
enable
module interface, enter:
show ip dhcps bindings
