Configuring the AG2330 for OCS deployment

OCS-only configuration example

The following procedure shows the IP address configuration required for the above setup in
the AG2330.
Procedure steps

2. Configure the AG2330 Ethernet interface to connect with the existing network:
3. Configure the OCS Mediation Server IP as the next-hop SIP server for the Media
4. Specify the IP address of the bound Media Gateway interface.

AG2330 configuration example with OCS and CS 1000

In this scenario, the OCS 2007 Server and the Avaya CS 1000 are running in the head office
and the Mediation Server is running in the branch office together with the AG2330. The Media
Gateway running in the AG2330 continues to act as a trunking gateway to route calls from
OCS Clients and Avaya IP Phones to PSTN networks.
The following figure shows a typical deployment of this scenario. Here OCS clients running in
the remote branch office register themselves with the OCS Server and Avaya IP phones
register with the CS 1000 at the head office.
