Once you have plugged the Photophone450 into the mains, the
default language will flash on the LCD screen.
'ENGLISH' . If this is not displayed, press Store/Menu to enter
the settings change menu.

Your screen has a backlight which automatically switches off after
15 seconds of inactivity. The contrast of the backlight against the
text can be increased or decreased.
