The AST570 phonebook is like any ordinary phonebook:
A repository for names and numbers".
However, in contrast to a standard phonebook it contains
additional connectivity information.
Basic to the AST570 operation are ATM VCs. The AST570
phonebook is the management tool for all possible ATM
connections.
This chapter describes how to use the AST570 phonebook and
consequently how to manage this VC pool.
