Alt (Cn3-Pin8) - Kenwood TK-7160 Modification Information

1 PORT FUNCTIONS

1.4.10 ALT (CN3-Pin8)

This port can be used to input an external Alert Tone.
1.4.11 RXAFI (CN3-Pin9)
This port can be used to input the received audio for
the Scrambler.
R267 is removed when the Scrambler is used and this
port can be used with the RXAFO port.
AC coupling is required to use this port.
1.4.12 5C (CN3-Pin10)
This port can be used to output a voltage of 5 V in
conjunction with the power.
The current rating is 50 mA.
1.4.13 8C (CN3-Pin11)
This port can be used to output a voltage of 8 V in
conjunction with the power.
The current rating is 50 mA.
