If someone calls when a call is on hold, you will be asked if you
want to release the held call and answer the incoming call.
When an active call is ended, you are asked to retrieve the held
call. If you do not respond within a few seconds, the held call
will also be ended.
To make and handle a new call during a call
1. During a call, make a
second call, or answer an
incoming call.
2. Press
to get a list of
call handling options with
the flip closed. With the
flip open choose options
by tapping the screen
buttons, by tapping the
field with the calling party
details, or selecting from
the menus.
– End the
End active call

– Switch

– Join the two calls into a conference call.

Conference calls

A conference call can be
started when you have an
active call and a held call.
The conference call view is
automatically displayed
whenever a party has been
added to the conference.
If an incoming call is
answered during a conference
call, the conference call will
be put on hold.
Note Conference calls are
only available if they are
supported by your subscription.
To start a conference call
• With one active call and one held call, tap the
button, or select
Phone > Join calls
