Settings
Select the conversion mode for the number of active scan lines.
conv: Convert the active scan lines from 1035 to 1080, without changing the
aspect ratio.
panel: Convert the active scan lines from 1035 to 1080. Insert the 1035 lines into
1080 lines, then compress horizontally.
Note
This item is valid only when menu item 018 is set to 1080.
Switch the filter for increasing the vertical resolution during slow-motion playback
on or off.
ON: Increase the vertical resolution in slow-motion playback.
OFF : Do not increase the vertical resolution in slow-motion playback.
Note
In the case of HDCAM tapes recorded in PsF mode, this item is invalid.
Select whether or not to add information to the SD output.
ON: Add digital audio data channels 5 to 8.
OFF: Do not add digital audio data channels 5 to 8.
ON: Add RP188 time code data.
OFF: Do not add RP188 time code data.
When playing back an HDCAM tape, add a 16:9/Sqeeze identifier signal as
defined in ARIB TR-B17 to downconverted SD output. Also, when playing back
an SD tape, detect 16:9/Sqeeze identifier signals on the tape and switch the
upconverter mode setting.
ON: Add a 16:9/Sqeeze identifier signal to SD output downconverted from HD in
Squeeze mode.
Also, when playing back an SD tape, detect 16:9/Sqeeze identifier signals on
the tape and automatically switch the upconverter mode. When 16:9/Sqeeze
identifier signals are not detected on an SD tape, the upconverter mode follows
menu item 950.
OFF: Do not add a 16:9/Sqeeze identifier signal to SD output downconverted
from HD in Squeeze mode.
Also, when an SD tape is played back, the upconverter mode follows menu
item 950 regardless of whether identifier signals are present on the tape.
Select the down-converter mode.
crop : Select the edge-crop mode.
l-box: Select the letter box mode.
squez: Select the squeeze mode.
Select the aspect ratio of the down-converter output when menu item 930 is set to
l-box.
16:9 : Set the aspect ratio of the HD-SD converter output to 16:9.
14:9: Set the aspect ratio of the HD-SD converter output to 14:9.
13:9: Set the aspect ratio of the HD-SD converter output to 13:9.
Adjust the "H-crop" (the horizontal position when cropping in the edge crop mode)
of the up/down converter output when menu item 930 is set to crop.
–120 to 0 to 120
Carry out the down-converter cross color adjustment.
0 to 8 to 15
