z You can adjust the analog output level
By pressing ANALOG OUT LEVEL +/–, you can adjust the
output level of the LINE (ANALOG) OUT jacks and PHONES
jack. The level can be set at any value from –40 dB to 0 dB, in
2-dB steps.
When recording from an MD to other component connected to
the LINE (ANALOG) OUT jacks on the deck, be sure to set the
output level to 0 dB, an ideal level for analog recording. When
you set the output level to 0 dB, "ATT" in the display turns off.
Note
You can't use the buttons on the remote or the deck while the
deck is controlled by a personal computer. "REMOTE" appears
in the display at this time.

Playing a Specific Track

While the deck is playing or stopped, use the procedure
below to quickly play any track.

Locating a track
To go to
The next or a succeeding
track during play
A preceding track during
play
The beginning of the current
track during play
A specific track while the
deck is stopped
z
To locate the last track of the MD quickly
While the deck is stopped, press . once.
z
If you locate a track while the deck is stopped or paused
The deck will still be stopped or paused at the beginning of the
located track.

Do the following:
Press > repeatedly.
Press . repeatedly.
Press . once.
Press ./> repeatedly until
the track number you want to go
to appears in the display, then
press H (or NX on the deck).
