Settings (*: Initial setting)
Sets the input level automatically to prevent the sound
distortion that occurs when a sound that is too loud is
input.
ON*:
The LIMITER function is activated.
OFF:
The LIMITER function is cancelled.
Note
When "REC LEVEL" is set to "MANUAL, "  this setting is effective.
Allows you to record sound sources for a maximum of 5
seconds prior to the point when the recording is started.
Sounds for 5 seconds are buffered in the memory.
ON:
The pre-recording function is activated.
OFF*:
The pre-recording function is cancelled.
When set to "ON, " the IC recorder enters the recording
pause mode when no sound is detected for more than 2
seconds, and the IC recorder starts recording again as a
new message when any sound is detected.
ON: 
The synchronized recording function is activated.
OFF*: 
The synchronized recording function is cancelled.
Note
You can record using the synchronized recording function only 
when you have connected other equipment to the IC recorder 
using an audio connecting cable and set "SELECT INPUT" to 
"AUDIO IN. "
