Confirming the Version

1.
Turn on the power.
The initial screen (Tone Selection screen) will be displayed.
* The Power Switch is on the right hand side, when you have the body stand up
and see it from the front.
2.
Press MENU (at the bottom).
The Menu screen appears. Press MENU several times on the Menu screen,

The version is displayed.

Data Backup and Restore
Operations
User data is of the following two types.
• User Tone (U: 001 – U: 100)
• System settings
Backing Up User Tones
Using the methods described below, you can back up the Tones.
Items Required
• Computer
• USB cable
Backup Procedure
1.
After powered on, connect the USB connector with the computer.
2.
Press MENU.
The Menu screen appears.
3.
If

is on the lower side, press MENU and move it to the
upper side.
4.
Press
until the display stops.
The version is displayed.
5.
Press MENU.
* At this moment, there is no change on the screen.
6.
Press and hold Oct-2 shown in the diagram and press
let the display show BACK.

7.
Press Oct+2.
The BACKUP drive appears on the computer's display.
8.
Copy the AEROPHONE.SVD file in the \Aerophone\BACKUP folder in
the BACKUP drive to the computer.
9.
Unmount the BACKUP drive and disconnect the USB cable.
10. Turn off the power.

Backing Up System Settings
Follow the procedure below to write down on a piece of paper.
1.
Press MENU.
The Menu screen appears.
2.
With

sequence, and write down the following parameter values only.
* As for the others, they are Tone Parameters or parameters that can't be saved, so
you don't need to write them down.

Restoring the User Tone
Restore Procedure
1.
Execute steps 1 through 5 of Backup Procedure that was described
earlier.
2.
Hold down Oct-2 and press
REST.
3.
Press Oct+2.
AE-10's display will show WAIT, and RESTORE drive will appear on the
computer monitor screen.
4.
Copy the backed up file to the root folder of the RESTORE drive.
5.
Unmount the RESTORE drive, and disconnect th USB cable.
The restore operation starts. When the operation finishes, REST will be
displayed.
6.
Turn off the power.
Restoring System Settings
1.
Press MENU.
The Menu screen appears.
2.
While

the values written down to be shown.
* If No-file is displayed, start again the procedures from step 1.

Press MENU and let

Repeat steps 2 through 5 and write down the values for all parameters.
