9. Phones
This checks the PHONES/OUTPUT jack.

The display shows -- -- -- --.
1.
Connect the audio cable to the PHONES/OUTPUT jack, and confirm that
CNCT is shown on the display.
2.
Disconnect the audio cable and confirm the display returning to -- -- -- --.
3.
Press MENU to advance to the next test item.
10. AD
This checks the Thumb Controller.

Move it to up/down/left/right and confirm that the each values will
change from 0 to 127.

When all directions are checked, it will automatically advance to next test
item.
11. LCD
This checks the display.

12. Device
This checks the Program ROM/Wave ROM.

If no error occurs, it automatically advances to the next test item.
If there is an error, then the display will show error details and will not
advance to the next test item.

13. Bite
This checks the Bite Sensor.
* Be sure to perform this test with the Mouth Piece of the user.

Take the Mouth Piece for the inspection off.
2.
Apply the market available recorder (wind instrument) cream to the
Rubber Cap.
3.
Attach the user's Mouth Piece.
4.
Confirm that the Mouth Piece is firmly inserted to the deep end, and the
reed of the Mouth Piece and the Sus Bar are touching.

Take the Sensor Cover on the rear side of the body off with a Phillip
Screwdriver.
