Arm Rest (Front Seats)
The arm rest engages in 3 positions.
Position 1 = arm rest folded up.
Position 2 = for normally inclined seat
back.
Position 3 = for extremely inclined
seat back.
Sedan: To adjust armrest, press
release button (4).
Coupe: To adjust armrest down, press
release button (4).
Note:
To move the arm rest between posi­
tions 1 or 2, it may be necessary to
overcome a slight resistance.
W arning!
The arm rest does not suffice as a
child restraint system. In case of a
frontal collision a child can be cata­
pulted forward over the locked arm
rest. Infants and small children
should be seated in a properly se­
cured restraint system that com­
plies with Federal Motor Vehicle
Safety Standard 213.
Arm Rest (Rear Bench Seat)
Pull down the armrest by its strap.
Sedan: The outboard seat belt buck­
les adjacent to the armrest swing out
simultaneously.
