Wired LAN

To connect the BHT to the network by using Wired LAN, set proper communication settings written on this
chapter and put the BHT onto the LAN CU connected with the network via LAN cable.
When the BHT is connected to the network, the connection icon

8.1. Wired LAN Network Settings

Tap [Ethernet Settings] button and dialog for method how to specifying IP address is displayed. Select the
method from DHCP and Static.
If Static is selected, detailed connection information setting menu is displayed.
Specify IP address, Gateway, Netmask, DNS1(, DNS2) that you are going to use.

8.2. Proxy Server Settings

To use proxy server, check the item "Use Proxy".
Tap the [Proxy] to open the menu of the proxy settings and set following items.

Not to use proxy

8.3. Network Device Priority

When multiple network devices are enabled, the transmission method of the BHT is determined by the
following priorities.
Wired LAN > WLAN > Mobile Network
| Ethernet , and the Ethernet menu is displayed.
Description
Specifies proxy server host name (or IP address).
Specifies proxy server port number.
Specifies addresses of servers bypassing the proxy server.
(Divide addresses with a separator ",".)
is displayed on the status bar.
