Prepend to predefine the first five- or six-digit prefix you wish
to use for abbreviated dialing, so that you can dial a number by
entering only the last three to ten digits of the number. This
feature becomes available when you enable Abbreviated
Dialing feature. (See "Setting Abbreviated Dialing" on page
48.)
To place a call using Ph. Book Match abbreviated dialing:
1. Enter the last three to six digits of a Contacts entry's phone
number saved in your Contacts.
2. Press
To place a call using Prepend abbreviated dialing:
1. Enter the last three to ten digits of your desired number.
2. Press
Note:
If the digits match more than one entry, the Abbrev. Dial list will be
displayed; select the correct entry and press

You can also place a call by pressing

Your phone's Plus Code Dialing feature can automatically dial
the international access code when you are traveling outside of
New Zealand. (Not available in some areas.)
To make a call using plus code dialing:
1. From standby mode, press and hold
