S606 (50-Sheet Detection
Sensor): Detects when the
stack is thicker than 5.5 mm.
When binding a 50-sheet
document with the smaller
50-sheet rings, the job will
stop if the sensor detects a
M605
stack that is thicker than
5.5 mm.
S607 (Stack Thickness
Sensor): Measures the
thickness of the stack
through a cutout in the upper
arm plate.
This reading is used to
S606
adjust the height of the
S607
paddle roller when the
stack is jogged.
