11 Check MAF sensor and its circuit.
1) Check MAF sensor and its circuit, referring to "DTC
P0102 Mass Air Flow Circuit Low Input" and "DTC
P0103 Mass Air Flow Circuit High Input" in this sec-
tion.
Is it in good condition?
12 Is DTC P0506 or P0507 detected?
13 Check idle air control (IAC) valve
1) Check idle air control valve referring to "Idle Air Con-
trol (IAC) Valve Operation Check" in this section.
Is it in good condition?
14 Check throttle body.
1) Check throttle body for clog or leak.
Is it OK?
[A]: Fig. 1 for Step 2
[B]: Fig. 2 for Step 10
Action Yes
Go to Step 12.
Go to applicable DTC
diag. flow table.
Go to Step 14.
Substitute a known-
good ECM and recheck.
No
Repair or replace it.
Go to Step 13.
Repair or replace
idle air control
valve.
Repair throttle
body.
