Ice Diverter
The ice diverter located just below the icemaker is to
aid in retaining ice cubes in the bucket. The diverter
It is held in place by three Phillips screws. Extend the
upper basket slide for easier access.
Below is a view of the diverter with the icemaker
and upper basket slide removed.
Freezer Fan Cover
The freezer fan cover is at the top right rear
attached to the evaporator cover. It is held in place
by four Phillips screws.
Evaporator Cover
The freezer evaporator cover is located at the rear
of the freezer compartment. It is removable with the
icemaker removed and all of the drawer slides left in
place.
1. Remove the seven Phillips screws where
indicated.
2. Release the icemaker connector, and push in on
the tabs on each side.

3. Note the orientation of the icemaker connector
for reassembly.
4. Pull all the drawer slides out partially.

then carefully slide the cover from the icemaker
6. Remove the evaporator cover from the freezer
compartment.
