Text Messages

Setting a Callback Number

You can notify your recipients of your callback number with a text message.
1.
Press MENU/OK > Settings/Tools > Settings > Messages > Callback Number.
2.
Select My Phone Number or None.
- or -
Select Other, enter a number and press DONE (left softkey).

Setting a Signature

You can create your own signature and add it to your messages. The signature can contain up
to 50 letters.
1.
Press MENU/OK > Settings/Tools > Settings > Messages > Signature > On.
Select Off for not attaching a signature to your messages.
2.
Enter a signature and press OK (left softkey).

Deleting Old Messages

You can choose if you want to automatically delete the oldest message when the inbox
becomes full.
To turn the Auto-Delete setting On or Off:
1.
Press MENU/OK > Settings/Tools > Settings > Messages > Auto-Delete.
2.
Select On or Off and press MENU/OK.

Managing Preset Messages

Your phone is loaded with 20 preset messages to help make sending text messages faster and
easier. These messages can be customized to suit your needs. Each message can contain up
to 50 letters.
To edit preset messages:
1.
Press MENU/OK > Settings/Tools > Settings > Messages > Preset Messages.
2.
Select a message to edit and press OPTIONS (right softkey) > Edit.
3.
Use your keypad to edit the message and press OK (left softkey) to save the changes.
To delete preset messages:
1.
Press MENU/OK > Settings/Tools > Settings > Messages > Preset Messages.
2.
Select a message you want to edit and press OPTIONS (right softkey) > Delete > YES (left
softkey).
To change the language of the preset messages:
1.
Press MENU/OK > Settings/Tools > Settings > Messages > Preset Messages.
2.
Press OPTIONS (right softkey) > Select Language.
3.
Select English or Spanish.
