Making Calls
Placing a call from your wireless phone is as easy as making a call from any landline phone.
Enter the number, press TALK, and you are on your way to clear calls.
1.
Make sure your phone is on.
2.
Enter a phone number. (If you make a mistake while dialing, press BACK to erase one digit
at a time. Press and hold BACK to erase the entire number.)
3.
Press TALK.
4.
Press END/ to end the call.
Dialing Options
Dialing options are displayed when you press OPTIONS (right softkey) after entering numbers
in standby mode.
To select an option, select it and press MENU/OK.
•
Abbreviated Dialing to dial the phone number in your Contacts list that ends with the four
digits you enter. (See "Using Abbreviated Dialing" on page xx.)
•
Save to save the phone number in your Contacts. (See "Saving a Phone Number" on page 15
.)
•
P Hard Pause to insert a hard pause. (See "Dialing and Saving Phone Numbers With
Pauses" on page 15.)
•
T 2-Sec. Pause to insert a two-second pause. (See "Dialing and Saving Phone Numbers
With Pauses" on page xx.)
Calling Emergency Numbers
You can place calls to 911 (press 9 1 1 TALK), even if your phone is locked or your account is
restricted. Once the dial is made, you will enter Emergency mode. While you are in the
Emergency mode, all phone calls can be received.
To exit from the Emergency mode:
1.
Press END/.
2.
Press Options > Exit Emergency.
In-Call Options
During a call, your phone displays menu options by pressing OPTIONS (right softkey). To select
an option, highlight it and press MENU/OK.
•
Three- Way Call to open a call with two other parties.
•
Save to save the current call's phone number in your Contacts. Contact Details appears if
the number is already in your Contacts.
•
Contacts to display your Contacts list.
•
Call Memo Rec. to record the other party on the line.
•
Phone Info to access the Phone Info menu.
•
Transfer Audio to switch the call to an external device (if applicable).
•
Main Menu to display the phone's main menu.
Note: Press TALK to return to the in-call screen from the main menu, etc.
