    1. Safety Guidelines Safety Maintaining Your Phone’s Peak Performance To maximise performance, do not touch the bottom portion of your phone, where the internal antenna is located, while using the phone. Avoid exposing your phone and accessories to rain or liquid spills.

  • Page 13 Key Features 1. Earpiece lets you hear the caller and automated prompts. 2. Main LCD (display) displays all the information needed to operate your phone, such as the call status, the Contacts list, the date and time, and the signal and battery strength. 3.

To mute the ringer during an incoming call, press the volume key up or down. The volume key can also be used to scroll up or down to navigate through the different menu options.

    Viewing the Display Screen This list identifies the symbols you will see on your display screen. shows your current signal strength. The more lines you have, the stronger your signal. means your phone cannot find a signal. indicates the call is on hold. indicates a call is in progress.

    Turning Your Phone On and Off Turning Your Phone On Press and hold Once your phone is on, it displays “Looking for service...” which indicates that your phone is searching for a signal. When your phone finds a signal, it automatically enters standby mode. At this point, you are ready to begin making and receiving calls.

    Using the Battery Installing the Battery 1. Insert the battery into the opening on the back of the phone and gently press down. 2. Place the battery cover into the position as indicated in the diagram, and slide it until you hear it snap into place. Then, slide the battery release latch.

    Calling in Lock Mode Even when your phone is locked, you can make calls to 111, Customer Service, and to special numbers without entering the lock code.
