・ Send Start Unit Command
Note
Be sure to set to ｢yes｣ when using this card.
Enabling this option allows you to determine whether a Start Unit command
should be sent to the SCSI device when the system is booted. The default
setting is ｢yes｣.
When this option is set to ｢yes｣, this card can start SCSI devices one-by-one at
bootup time, reducing the load placed on your SERVER's power supply.
When it is set to ｢no｣, all SCSI devices are started simultaneously at bootup
time. Most SCSI devices need to have their jumpers preset to respond to this
command.
・ Include in BIOS Scan
When this option is set to ｢yes｣, the Int 13h device (hard disk drive) connected
with the SCSI bus is recognized by the Host Adapter BIOS and incorporated
into the system as a system unit regardless of installation of a device driver
software. The default setting of this option is ｢yes｣.
When this option is set to ｢no｣, the system needs to install a device driver
software for controlling the SCSI device.
