Adjusting the Performance Pad Sensitivity

While holding down the [PANEL] button, press the [POWER]
switch to turn on the power.
The DJ-808 is in system setting mode, and the [START/STOP] button of the
TR-S section is blinking.

Press the performance pad whose sensitivity you want to
adjust.
The pad you press is lit red.

Use the [VALUE] knob to change the value of the setting.

Explanation
The lower the value, the greater the sensitivity.

* If the sensitivity is too great, vibrations of the DJ-808 itself might make
the pad operate unintendedly.
Take care not to make the sensitivity excessive.

When you've finished making settings, press the blinking
[START/STOP] button.
The display shows " U - ait , " and after a while returns to the normal state.

If this is "On, " the input signals to INPUT CH 1–4 and USB 3–4 are output without change to

Returning to the Factory Settings (Factory Reset)

The system settings and TR-S patterns stored in the DJ-808 can be returned
to their factory-set state (factory reset).

Hold down the [BACK] button of the browser section, and press
the [POWER] switch to turn on the power.
The display indicates " rst , " and the [START/STOP] button of the TR-S
section blinks.
* If you decide to cancel the operation, turn off the power.

Press the blinking [START/STOP] button.
Factory reset begins.
When the display indicates " Oc W , " factory reset is complete.
NOTE
Never turn off the power until the display indicates " Oc W . "

After the factory reset is complete, press the [POWER] switch to
turn the power off and then on again.
Backspin operation occurs according to the actual distance of rotation.
Backspin operation is shorter than with the Normal setting.
Backspin operation occurs longer than the actual distance of rotation.
Backspin operation is longer than with the Normal setting.
Reverb is applied.
Delay is applied.
Reverb and delay are applied simultaneously.
