3. Attach the PoE shelf to the rack rails using eight customer-supplied rack screws (two screws
for each mounting ear). See
You have completed the installation of the PoE shelf. You can now connect the PoE shelf to the
K-Series chassis and install power supplies in the PoE shelf. See
Supply.

Mid-mounting the PoE Shelf in a Two-post Rack (3-inch Rails)

You must supply four rack screws to complete this installation.
To mid-mount the PoE shelf in a two-post rack with 3-inch rails:
1. Attach the short rails, included with the K-POE-4BAY-RAIL rail kit
shelf as shown in
Flat washers and pan head screws are included with the K-POE-4BAY-RAIL rail kit for
attaching the rails to the shelf.
