The XRC
main electronic board may require some basic setup and wiring.

The standard XRC
enclosure allows the user access to the main electronic board for configuration of jumpers, communication
modules and switches. All user wiring is wired directly to this board.

While the XRC
panel-mount main electronic board(s) are pre-wired inside of the rack mount enclosure to the termination panel
on the rear of the enclosure, it may be necessary to configure some of the jumpers, communication modules and switches that
are located inside of the enclosure on the main electronic board(s).
Communication wiring
Up to two communication ports can be programmed on the XRCG4 board. COMM 0 is the local port required for reading the
XRCG4 with a laptop computer running PCCU32. COMM 1 and COMM 2 can be configured for any combination of RS-232 or
RS-485. See Figure 41 for on-board communications wiring inside the standard XRCG4 enclosure. See
