Magnet position (requires shroud
removal)
RPM Sensor (requires shroud
removal)
Owner's Manual
If outlet does not function, use a properly
functioning outlet.
Connection should be secure and undamaged.
Replace adapter or connection at unit if damage
appears.
Replace cable if wires appear crimped or cut.
Confirm cable is connected securely at the back
of the console and at the base of the console
mast.
Replace console if damaged.
Replace computer if console only has partial
display.
Make sure strap is directly against skin and
contact area is moist. Strap should be Polar
compatible.
Try moving unit away from sources of interference
(TV, Microwave, etc).
Connect strap to a functioning Polar
device to see if it works. If it does not function,
replace strap. If strap works with other devices
but not with the Schwinn
receiver.
All wires in cable should be intact. Replace cable
if wires appear crimped or cut.
Confirm cable is securely connected and
properly positioned. Small latch on connector
should line up and snap into place.
Replace flywheel or entire main assembly if you
do not see a magnet.
RPM sensor should be aligned with magnet
and connected to data cable. Re-align sensor
if necessary. Replace if there is any damage to
sensor or connecting wire.
