1. Measure the width of the MBS shilt piece.
Standard:
6.9-7.1 mm (O.272-O.2aO
Soryice Limit: 5.8 mm (O.268 inl

service limit, replace the MBS shift piece.

the synchro sleeve and synchro hub as a set.
SYNCHRO
SLEEVE
When assembling the synchro sleeve and synchro
hub, be sure to match the three sets of longer teeth
(1 20 degrees apart) on the synchro sleeve with the
three sets ol deeper grooves in the synchro hub.
CAUTION: Do not install the svnchro sleove with
its longer leeth in the synchro hub slots because it
will damage the spring ring.
