8.7 Checking and Tightening Mast Pivot

This procedure should only be performed by a
qualified technician.

1. To gain access to the attaching hardware, remove the
covers A that are on either side of the mast B.
2. Check that the locknut C is tight and secure on the
screw D.
3. If needed, do one or more of the following:
• Tighten locknut and back off the locknut 1/8 of a
turn.
• Replace the locknut.
