Installing the wiper blades
Position new wiper blade : with
X
recess B on lug A.
Fold wiper blade : in the direction of
X
arrow = onto the wiper arm, until retaining
clips ; engage in bracket ?.
Make sure that wiper blade : is seated
X
correctly.
Fold the wiper arm back onto the
X
windshield.
Replacing the rear window wiper blade
Removing the wiper blade
G WARNING
The wiper arm could be set in motion and
injure you if the wiper is switched on.
Remove the SmartKey from the ignition lock
before replacing the wiper blade.
Remove the SmartKey from the ignition
X
lock.
Fold wiper arm : away from the rear
X
window until it engages.
Position wiper blade ; at a right angle to
X
wiper arm :.
Hold wiper arm : and press wiper
X
blade ; in the direction of the arrow until
it releases.
Remove wiper blade ;.

Installing the wiper blade
Place new wiper blade ; onto wiper
X
arm :.
Hold wiper arm : and press wiper
X
blade ; in the opposite direction to the
arrow until it engages.
Make sure that wiper blade ; is seated
X
correctly.
Position wiper blade ; parallel to wiper
X
arm :.
Fold wiper arm : back onto the rear
X
window.
Problems with the windshield wipers
The windshield wipers are obstructed
For safety reasons, you should remove the
X
SmartKey from the ignition lock.
or
Switch off the engine using the Start/Stop
X
button and open the driver's door.
Remove the cause of the obstruction.
X
Switch the windshield wipers back on.
X
The windshield wipers are inoperative
The windshield wiper drive is malfunctioning.
Select another wiper speed on the
X
combination switch.
Have the windshield wipers checked at a
X
qualified specialist workshop.
