Disinfecting the Finger Pricker and Cap
1. Remove the cap and lancet drum from the finger pricker.
2. Clean the finger pricker and cap.
3. Dampen a cloth with 70 % isopropanol.
4. Thoroughly wipe the outside only of the finger pricker for 2 minutes.
Thoroughly wipe the inside and outside of the cap for 2 minutes.
5. Place the cap back on the finger pricker and wrap the finger pricker in the dampened cloth for
8 minutes.
6. Unwrap the finger pricker and let it air dry.
