Place the IP phone and Cisco SPA 500S face down on a flat surface, with Cisco
SPA 500S on the left.
Align the attachment arm over the peg holes on the right side of the phone and the
left side of Cisco SPA 500S. Insert the attachment arm pegs into the peg holes.
Using the attachment arm screws, secure the attachment arm to the phone and
Cisco SPA 500S.
Locate the AUX IN port on the back of Cisco SPA 500S. Connect one end of the
auxiliary cable to this port.
Locate the AUX port on the back of the IP phone. Connect the other end of the
auxiliary cable to this port. Cisco SPA 500S is powered by the auxiliary cable with
the IP phone; no additional power source is required.
Do not plug a telephone line cord into the AUX port. Use
provided with Cisco SPA 500S.
