❒ About 80 originals can be placed in the Auto Document Feeder (ADF).
❒ The weight range for originals in the Mixed Size mode is 52–81 g/m

Non-compatible originals for the Auto Document Feeder
Placing the following types of originals in the ADF can cause paper misfeeds or
result in damage to the originals. Place these originals on the exposure glass in-
stead.
• Originals other than those specified on p.9 "Sizes and Weights of Recom-
mended Originals".
• Stapled or clipped originals
• Perforated or torn originals
• Curled, folded, or creased originals
• Pasted originals
